Lumbar spine 3D animation depicts a lumbar spine endoscopic minimally invasive discectomy procedure. A small incision is made posteriorly on the back of the patient over the L5-S1 lamina, a small window is drilled through the lamina in order to expose and mobilize the nerve root allowing entry into the spinal canal. The disc herniation is removed and decompression of the cord and exiting nerve root is accomplished.
